What is GOG.com?

GOG.com is a website dedicated to selling DRM-free classic games for the low, low price of $5.99 or $9.99. There are also free games. Since entering public beta in 2008, GOG.com now has over 200 games in its catalogue, all without any copy protection or online activation of any kind! You get your games in a simple, self extracting installer which installs the game and any needed tools to play it with (DOS games will install DOSBox, SCUMM games will install ScummVM and so on), GOG also preconfigures its games to work with modern systems, with extensive in-house testing, by incorporated well known fan patches, working with the original source code and other such measures.
What's more, most games come with additional extras such as wallpapers, soundtrack and manuals.
