Profound Blur

Resembling the game play style of the Diablo series, Torchlight II is one of the few dungeon crawlers that I really enjoyed. Unlike a lot of the RPG games out there, this game provides the player with the right amount of mobs which makes killing monsters fun and not a chore. The pets in this game are actually of use in the series, as they can attack and sell/buy goods while you are in a dungeon so that you can spend more time killing and less time walking.

If there are any negatives, I would have to point out the inability to rotate the camera. Although the combat in this game is meant to be fast, there are certain instances where I would like to see my character give the killing blow to a boss that was behind a wall. The outline of the boss doesn't count.

As the game description says, it's a combination of a platformer and a puzzle game. It offered good graphics featuring a cute yellow animal (unable to determine if it is a chicken or a duck) and puzzles that are so thought out that I needed to think. This game is a gem.

A really good game with gorgeous HD remakes of levels from the past. There are a few bugs here and there, but it is completely playable. Throughout the game, you are able to collect artwork that Sonic Team used when creating the game (or previous games) and select full soundtracks from the games. I prefer playing as Modern Sonic, but the classic style (Classic Sonic) is also enjoyable.

One of the games that is easy to learn, but hard to master.

An entirely different approach to FPS gaming. Instead of having everyone with the same guns, each class has its own special set of weapons that can entirely change the outcome of the game. Working together is the most powerful tactic in the game.
