Iv'e spent 20 minutes actually playing this game, the rest has be spent in freezes and lag fests. Both my pcs meet the recomended specs, it's a fun game when it works for 5 minutes before it crashes. I have read about fixes and patches that saposedly fix the issue and tried them all, it would apear that steam doesn't install them automaticly nor are the patches and fixes available for manual installation as they're not for the steam version. According to people in forum after forum the fixes don't even fix the regular retail dvd copy anyway. They have apparently been trying to fix this since 2006 when the game was released. Thats going on 6 years now. SIX YEARS WITHOUT ANY SUPPORT FROM ANY OF THE 3 PARTIES. I was robbed for my hard earned 7$ by arkane studios, ubisoft, and valve. I name valve with them because they are perpetuating the problem by allowing this crap to be sold over steam. 6 years No support. CLEARLY $ is what's important. Not steam's reputation. Not the customers.
