Hey guys,
today the directors of Modern Warfare 2 published the news that MW2 will not support Dedicated Server and all Servers will be hosted by Infinity Wards. This decision destroys the Multiplayer feeling on PC and doesn't allow to create any custom stuff (e.g. maps) for the game and host 'em online. Further there wont be any MOD to play the game in leagues so that MW2's eSport carrier is over before it gets released.

For all people who share the opiniion that MW2 needs to support Dedicated Servers I created the following Steam group and I would like you to join in here : steamcommunity.com/groups/BOYCOTTMW2

Heute gaben die Direktoren des Spiels "Modern Warfare 2" bekannt, dass das Spiel keine Dedicated Server unterstützen wird, sondern Server von IW gehostet werden. Mit dieser Entscheidung wird nicht nur das gewohnte Online feeling der Call Of Duty Serie zerstört, sondern es wird gleichzeitig unmöglich Custommaps und Mods für das Spiel zu erstellen. Im eSport bereich wird das Spiel so nicht zu gebrauchen sein. Wir sind PC Spieler und möchten nicht auf unser gewohntes Online Erlebnis verzichten!
