Early Access Review
Melody's Escape is a pretty good game, the art style is amazing, the concept is excellent that being said I think the game is not worth its 10$ (Early Access) Value. What got me to buy this game is the art style because it looked lovely, that being said the gameplay is what bothered me, your basically on a linear path your character moves by herself and you just wait to press arrow keys, you become more focused on the buttons you have to press that you lose focus on the visuals in the background, and that really draws away from the game.

The intesity of your music does not always sync well, I have played some intense songs that aren't all that intense ingame and I have played slow songs that gameplay wise get intense, so its not properly balanced. I have also noticed that there is a repetative feel to the three different linear paths, the first time you play its usually you running a linear path, then the second song you play its you jumping higher or lower on platforms, and the third song is usually you flying, now this is the case for me I don't know about anyone else but I have noticed that.

Overall the game is beautiful in its art, its simple & user friendly, gameplay wise the focusing on buttons more then anything else draws away from the game but that being said the game is still satisfactory.
