This game has an interesting concept, but ultimately wasn't my cup of tea. Think of it as a cross between Smash Brothers / Tekken, GTA, and Resident Evil. If you enjoy the complex button-combo melee type of game, than perhaps you'll like it more than me. Be warned that you can't lower the difficulty level after you start a game, and that a few of the boss fights have an annoying absense of checkpoints. I was able to beat most of the game with hit-and-run tactics, instead of getting in the fray and figuring out what that boss's vulnerability of the moment was. This doesn't work for the last boss, so I'm kinda annoyed at the game for not letting me use the tactics that had gotten me that far. But if you like punching things more than shooting them, and have mastered the art of attack button combos, you should be fine with it. It was just too heavy on the button mashing for me.
An insanely fun game that's a nice change of pace from the all to common browny gray space marine shooters. The graphics style is well done; it feels a lot like being in a graphic novel, but one where the writer has a twisted sense of humor (especially the DLC). I also liked the flexibility provided by the different characters and their upgrade paths, not to mention the varied amount of weapon types. I've played the whole thing through at least twice over, well worth full price - even better if you can get it on sale.
Decent game; it pretty much follows the movie, except with a lot more shooting people worked in. The graphics are still good for an '08 game, though most of the single player gameplay is focused on running and gunning or cover-based shooting instead of using typical 007 gadgets. Aside from not letting you toggle out of cover with the same button, it was well implemented. There are also a few quicktime events, but not many and they're not the annoying type where one mistake wastes five minutes.
It took me just under 7 hours to beat the single player on the hardest difficulty, haven't touched the multiplayer. My biggest complaint would be that about halfway through it started freezing up after completing each chapter, so I'd have to kill it and restart from the chapter select menu. Maybe it doesn't like Windows 7, maybe I just needed to reboot. I'd still get it if you're a James Bond fan and it's priced around that of a movie ticket.
