While the story is not as good as the second installment for a variety of reasons, the gameplay is up to par, and the PC version is actually better than the console release this time around. Steelport is a great playground of destruction and mayhem, although sadly the hot-dog suit is reserved for DLC.

Oddball humor mixed with a gangland rise to power storyline makes for a wild fun time. The PC version is a bad port, but it is playable with the right fanmade fixes and the excelent mod pack 'Gentlemen of the Row'. Attending a funeral in a hot-dog suit and stripper boots has never been quite so entertaining.

Exactly what it says on the tin. A great toy for the inner admiral who likes strategic space battles, but doesn't quite have the patience or time for all of the other aspects of space strategy games.
