Valve know how to take mods and make absolute classics of them. DOTA 2 is giving me the same filthy perpetual boner CS gave me! For my DotA boys: I can't wait to jam with you on this shit! For my CSS boys: it's a different genre but has the same addictive gameplay! Come at me! (And on me.)
A quite brilliant game in terms of its balance between instant fun and diversified value (the amount of unique play modes is ridiculous). In a few seconds you can jump on, join a game, and cover yourself with tons of blood. Or take a little longer, get a team together, and suddenly you've got hours of hardcore strat-based gameplay. I've never played something that is just as fun casually as it is hardcore.
GET this game. It's easily worth three times its current price.
