Many bad games have been made with popilar IPs, but Arkham Asylum is one of the best "based on famous IP" games I've played. Not only visual, but also voice acting and gameplay.

Fantastic game! The graphics are a bit dated, but the story and characters are superb. Take the weekend off and play though this game, or at least play it for longer periods of time. It's a game that get's under your skin (in a good way) and has a lot to offer, if you let it into your heart/soul/feelings and err stuff :-/

If you like guns, "realism" in wargames, and getting indoctrinated into joining the Army; then this is the game for you.
