Beautiful, fluidly animated 2D spritework and really good voice acting and music. Lovely setting that is remarkably consistent and well designed. This game is a living thing, full of personality. Some of the most epic and challenging boss encounters I've ever faced and I don't mean that in a cheap way. Many characters; replayable.

It's been years since I played a game this good. Those who played classics such as Sonic, Sparkster and Gunstar Heroes back in the day will feel right at home.

Before Uncle Randy passed away, he was restoring on a broken computer. Aunt Doris gives it to you; maybe you will be able to finish his work. When you start it up, the boot sequence progresses to the whirring sound of spinning fans... Until halted by an error beep. Its memory segments are corrupted. In order to debug it, you must reprogram its various functions.

The Tessellated Intelligence System is a parallel computing architecture; it is made out of communicating nodes. The TIS-100 model has nodes configured as a 4x3 matrix.

The basic building blocks of the computer are the execution nodes. They can communicate with adjacent nodes and load data into registers for processing. Each node has a single general-purpose register and one temporary storage register that acts as a one-element stack. A multi-value stack memory node is also available.

Execution nodes can be programmed individually using the TIS instruction set. Only basic instructions are available; they support tasks such as moving data from/to register/nodes, performing basic arithmetic on the registered value and jumping to labeled sections of code.

Under this heavily constrained programming environment, the player must write programs that pass the computer's built-in test suite, rebuilding its memory segments little by little.

Very challenging game. Parallel programming is hard! Optimizing solutions requires some really heavy wizardry.

Great game from the same developers of 999 and Virtue's Last Reward. Fun characters, setting and mysteries. Definitely recommended if you enjoy series such as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. You can choose to play with either Japanese or English voice acting.

Danganronpa originally came out for the PSP and now it's on Steam. The PC version of this game is thoroughly impressive. WASD + mouse controls for the entire interface, borderless fullscreen, full Steam feature set... I wouldn't even call it a port. It's pretty much the definitive version of the game.

Surprisingly good game series and it's growing in quality, complexity, polish and number of titles. It's actually real time strategy rather than tower defense -- much more dynamic and fun.

The creeper is the enemy; there are structures on the map which will produce waves of creeper, which are hazardous to your units. Some structures will launch creeper artillery into the middle of your infrastructure. You use weapons to defend yourself and push the creeper back. Towards that end, you must acquire and manage your resources. Your objective is to destroy enemy offensive structures and the score is determined by how fast you can do it.

The high variety of maps presents a unique challenge every time. You can play it safe and ensure victory at lower scores, but the real challenge comes when you strain yourself and your units to win as fast as possible.
