Every single Steam game I own was on sale at the time of purchase.
As of right now, Every game in my collection I purchased for myself (minus Knights of the Old Republic and the Unreal Deal pack, which were gifts from friends) cost me a total of $190.52.
If these games were not on sale, and at current prices, it WOULD have cost me a total of $590.62.
I saved $400.10 total, which amounts to an average of 68% savings.
See? Being a penny-pincher pays off!

This is my pick for Game of the Year 2011, no question about it.
Valve has really outdone themselves with Team Fortress 2. This amazing class-based first-person shooter released in 2007 has received countless free updates adding new maps, new weapons, and most importantly, an abundance of awesome hats. This game can be immense amounts of fun, whether you're playing official game modes, or one of the many community-created mods such as one custom game mode where you and your team get to fight the mighty Saxton Hale himself! Considering the time and attention Valve has put into it, it's easy to see why Team Fortress 2 is so popular amongst casual and competitive gamers alike.

If you've got a lot of music, this is seriously a must-have. This game turns any music track (In practically any format) into a winding roller-coaster/racetrack level, where you dodge and collect bricks to the beat of your music! The more intense the music gets, the faster your ship goes!
