A surprisingly fun first-person open world zombie game that unfortunately lacks in the story telling department. The flimsy narrative ultimately leaves Dead Island as just a mediocre game with moments of brilliance rather than an all around masterpiece.
It's a blast in the beginning and I recommend the game just for the thrill of those first few hours.
It looks better than Oblivion, and plays better too. Play it for a fun time!
