I keep going back and forth on this one... Runner2 is a well-made game with lots of love, but it doesn't respect your time whatsoever. It wants you to repeat levels a lot, and I mean A LOT. When you do make meaningful progress, you feel relieved that you never have to do it again, not satisfied. If you're a completionist, all the extra padding and that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ QTE at the end of every single level is going to make you want to blow your brains out.

If you can get past that, this game is delightfully fun in short bursts. Making a little bit of progress while grooving to the beautiful music, sounds, level design, and graphics is actually pretty comforting. This game clearly means well, and tries to show it constantly with heapfuls of spirit. Despite the problems, I think it's a must-play.
