Revenge of the Titans is the indie game that took the spotlight instead of the underrated gem Titan Attacks. But for perfectly good reasons.

Revenge of the Titans is an excellent marriage of tower defense, twitch gameplay, and real time strategy. It is anything but slow as you frantically build defenses INSTANTLY at any potential chokepoint. All you need is enough cash, and the defense is built immediately ready for battle!

With plenty of game modes, and hours of nonstop defend or survive delight, this lovingly retro homage is a sheer joy to play!

An indie game that flew under the radar as Revenge of the Titans took the spotlight. Titan Attacks is an absolutely addictive and wonderful homage to Space Invaders, but on steroids! You see, the game marries bullet hell shooting with twitch gameplay, with tons of potential upgrades to your tank. Eventually, you become the ultimate weapon! However, heroes never sleep, as once you finish the game, it starts AGAIN from Wave 1 of 100 again with ADDED DIFFICULTY to the entirety of the game! You even continue to rack up points!! WOW, this game is addictive! Highly reccomended for fans of excellent indie games, especially games paying homage to the blocky pixelated games of the past.

Dungeon Siege 3 ended up being a pleasant surprise despite my initial impressions aquired from the demo. You see, I'm a fan of the original Dungeon Siege games, especially the second one which deserves its sacred place as one of the most addictive games of all time! However, Dungeon Siege 3 does the series justice, even if somewhat. Satisfying loot gathering, solid gameplay mechanics, lovely visuals, tons of lore, and fun talent or ability systems. The gameplay is mostly hampered by repetition, unintuitive controls clearly designed for console, and uneven difficulty spikes. Dungeon Siege 3 is solid reccomendation for all action RPG fans, but is best avoided when full price, although currently its a steal at around $30.00! A fairly addictive, hardcore-style RPG!!
