2011 was the year of the roguelike. The binding of Isaac maybe Roguelike lite, but its great music, unique and disturbing visuals, and creepy story set it apart in the best way possible.
More charm than a four leaf clover. This game is cuter than a basket full of kittens. It's RPG 101, but you don't play for the combat or mechanics, you play for the dialogue and to be flooded with adorable.
It's "You Don't Know Jack." If you know what that means, you probably already own this game. If you are unfamiliar with YDKJ, it's irreverent trivia masterfully done. It's one trick pony, but that pony ride is so fun in stride that it's worth every penny.
