The developers have within less than a week of release addressed the biggest issue I had with the game, and I have since become aware of how insanely active and responsive to feedback they are since I left my first review.

With the changes they've made, I can quite happily give this game a solid thumbs up now. Whatever minor issues I still have I'll leave in the Discord.

This is an excellent game, thank you to all the devs!

I CAN FIX HER!

This is a very interesting social multiplayer game, building on the rough concepts of other games like Die2nite and Mush. But it's so much more refined, polished, and free from Pay to win elements.

It's an intriguing setting set in the deep woods of a creepy forest, and the incredible art sells it.

It's past the beta, but it's still plagued with small issues and UI issues which interrupt the fun, but never spoil it. Having communicated with the dev's through their Discord, they're aware of them and are already fixing some of them.

I can't wait to see where this game goes. I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, it's a bit of a mobile game hybrid that requires checking back on frequently within 24 hours, but it's a genre that's intriguing for sure.

This started rather interestingly, but at the moment I'm really struggling with the character motivations. My MC seems way too casual about people being literally torn apart and society collapsing. It goes for other characters too, they refer to Zombies in such a way that they almost seem a minor inconvenience instead of the end of the world.

I wanted to make choices that would reflect the grave situation my MC found himself in, but I was only able to show 'Concern' instead of panic. It's especially difficult to justify when my character is just a teenager, but has the thought process and emotions of someone much older.

I've encountered at least one moment where the game 'balance' and the story clash, with my MC being able to haul around a huge amount of heavy equipment. He's got a damn portable generator, a tarp, and wood/metal equpment stuffed in his trousers.

Characters seem adamant on referring to it as a 'Virus' and not a pandemic.

Overall, I feel like I should play this game several times with different characters to offer the best review, but my current experience has been pretty miserable, with the game not really acknowledging my view of how deadly serious things are.

A game about being on a relaxing island paradise with cute girls.
