"There's a hole in the world like a great black pit, and it's filled with people who are filled of shit, and the vermin of the world inhabit it..."

I don't believe in an afterlife, so I don't have to spend my whole life fearing hell, or fearing heaven even more. For whatever the tortures of hell, I think the boredom of heaven would be even worse.

Want higher gaming pings? Slower internet speeds? Wasted taxpayer money? Support the "Clean Feed"! Otherwise, join this group and visit No Clean Feed.

Invite as many Australians as possible! Do you really think users of Steam would want such side effects of a "Clean Feed"?

More info (quoted from No Clean Feed):

The Federal Government is pushing forward with a plan to force ISPs to filter out all material "inappropriate" for children from Australian homes.

This plan will waste tens of millions of taxpayer dollars and slow down Internet access.

Despite being almost universally condemned by the public, ISPs, State Governments, Media and censorship experts, Communications Minister Stephen Conroy is determined to force this filter into your home. Don't let him!

---

What about ways Conroy deals with critics? Suppression (Mark Newton, Internode) for one. Or how about just automatically accusing people of supporting child porn?

Stephen Conroy wants you to believe that he is protecting us from child porn, and also wants you to beleive children are being protected too.

It is an unfortunate fact that the following quote fits the situation quite well...

The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.
