Splash Damage has definitely revolutionized the way an online objective multiplayer game should be played. The parkour movement system they've dubbed SMART makes movement across the map and obstacles a breeze, allowing you to focus on more important things, such as completing objectives to aid your team. You can create and customize up to 10 characters and either max them out or mix and match specific class traits to create a medic/soldier that you can then switch between in-game at any captured command post. After a few hours of play, you’ll be sliding across maps and hopping over obstacles all while shooting your way to your objectives.

Portal 2 is by far the funniest game Valve has produced. The robotic characters are more life-like than some of the humans you'll find in other games. GLaDOS returns and throws you right back in the game of portal puzzle solving. Once you're done with the single player mode, there's a whole new game in co-op that can be played with a friend.

L4D2 is one of the best online games to play with your friends, especially in Versus mode. You think either win or you lose, but you have lots of fun in the process. Sometimes you wipe the other team and they all rage quit or you get your asses handed to you by the opposing team. If Versus isn't your thing there's still an excellent Campaign which you can play alone or online.
