An audacious man of action with a sad, impenetrable face, and soft as cookie dough.

A Video game for anyone who ever relishes the triumphal note of western war films, who gets carried away by the moral high of being on the winning side. For those who saw the good in the Gulf War, saw how many people America helped and was proud to live in the Western world.
ARMA II: Operation Arrowhead is an anti-war game. Its opening scenes are not the declaration of war, but soldiers celebrating its end. Then coming to grips with its consequences.
It's hard to really adequately describe this game. Let me try. "Operation Arrowhead" does an excellent job of showing just how gonzo modern warfare has become. You've got unemployed reservists going to the Middle East for kicks. A takastani army who uses gas attacks, electric shock torture and other atrocities to fight the rebels. Thrown in the mix is a U.S.-educated taki whose businesses were destroyed by the Americans.
Not the best role playing game in the world. Funny, shocking, thought provoking and honest, 8.5/10.
The player takes control of an unnamed undergraduate at the University of Chicago, working as a technician for a scientific team that discovers an alternative, low-cost, pollution-free fuel source. When one of the chief scientists is murdered and the invention stolen, The player (voiced by Gary Oldman) and his physicist lab assistant Lily Sinclair (Ivanka trump) are framed for it and have to flee for their lives, with the FBI, CIA and other involved parties in close pursuit. Paul Shannon (Gilbert gottfried), The Player's mentor, is the director of a scientific company which has commercial interests in the invention. The Player and Lily set out to find the stolen invention and hopefully clear themselves of the false charges.
My Take: A formulaic action shooter with some impressive set pieces marred by lackluster writing. Regardless, it wasn't the best game nor the worst game ever made. If you're looking for a fast paced game that you don't have to think too much on, this is it. 8/10
