[Airy's] Airyll

Okay look Imma be straight with you. The game has flaws, yes. But, that said, it's horrendously, hilariously enjoyable. The classes feel balanced on both sides of the team and the game does a very good job of making a somewhat tense atmosphere as a human without losing any of its fun. Playing the Rex, if you can, is awesome because you can literally run people over and kill them. For a bit of mindless FPS dino vs human carnage, this game is exactly what it promises.

True, the lack of any mode aside from deathmatch (at the time of writing this recommendation) is somewhat harmful to the game, but that said playing deathmatch repeatedly hasn't lost any appeal to me yet. New maps with objectives would both fix the lack of maps and would help keep humans from grouping up in 5% of the matches. The game also shouldn't let you switch teams in the middle of a match if it forces you to swap teams at the beginning.

But it's still a really, really fun game and I absolutely got my money's worth with it. With free DLC coming and the promise of new game modes and maps, this game is definitely worth the money.
(Really, I could have left the argument at running people over as Rex and you should have been sold on it.)

Just. Buy it. Seriously. As far as horror games go, this one is so close to perfection that it hurts, and it's the kind of game that scares you in the sort of way you always end up going back and playing it just for it to scare you more.

Support Frictional Games, who made the wonderfully fun if not mind-warped Penumbra series and then used their knowledge from those games to make one of my most memorable horror games yet.
