You have to play this at the very least for the beautiful art. Congratulations, video games! "It's exactly like playing an oil painting." You did it.
The puzzles will make your brain melt.
You will run out and buy the soundtrack after you finish it. (Heck, if you're like me, you'll want to replay it to hear the music warping!)
However: the story-mystery isn't as good as some other games. With Silent Hill 2, for example, you sat there, STUNNED...and then came up with a dozen theories and want to restart the game to explore some more. In BRAID, you'll sit there, go "Wait, what the--?" and then go online to read other folks' theories. You may want a break before replaying all the way through (even though you will still want to hear the crazy music).
