-------------
My video card randomly died on me. No idea when I'll get it fixed or get a new one. So very few to no games for a while. Feed me your sympathy.
-------------

Hey, I'm AMV_Ph34r, just some other guy on the internet.
I build computers and robots, design websites, direct, edit and act in my own stupid little movies, program, play guitar, do some animation and spend a lot of free time online. And of course game. I game a lot. Sometimes too much.

I'm also the webmaster of an FRC robotics team, team 2059 The Hitchhikers. You can check out our site at http://thehitchhikers.org/

If you want to contact me elsewhere, I'm known as AMV_Ph34r pretty much everywhere on the internets, and on those few sites that go "NO UNDERSCORES IN UR USERNAME KTHX" I am AMVPh34r or AMV-Ph34r. Just google it, you'll find me.

That's all I have to say now.

Wait... Ponies

There, that's all.

I used to not play RPGs like you, then I took a... Okay sorry, no. Not gonna do that. But I will say that if you like Bethesda games, hell if you like any one of Bethesda's games, you will like Skyrim. Out of all of their games to date, Skyrim is the most expansive one you will come across. Hundreds of locations meet with thousands of quests that all weave together to form an incredible story that you help tell. Create your character and step into the land of Skyrim, ready to fight dragons and recover the ancient Elder Scrolls. The visuals, soundtrack and dialogue will all leave you breathless, and no matter how much you listen to it, the theme song will never decrease in epicness. Skyrim is definitely worth buying, for even at full price you get hundreds of hours of gameplay, which I'd say is a pretty good deal.
Oh, and keep an eye out for rogue arrows.

Garry's Mod is one of those games you have to have, no matter what you use it for. The reason being you can use it for nearly anything you want. It's basically like jailbreaking the Source engine. You can easily spawn any item or model you have loaded into the game, and use the physics gun to do whatever you want with them. From posing ragdolls to building machines to animating feature-length films, it can be done with Gmod. Heck, even if all you want to do is lay back and screw around for a few hours, this game will help pass that time right by. With seemingly endless mods and maps downloadable on the website, the possibilities stretch on forever. Of course, you will have to own some other Source engine game to be able to play it, but you should have all of those anyway.

As someone who has still yet to see The Dark Knight (I know, sad), I must say I was a bit skeptical towards this game. To me, Batman had always seemed to be a superhero directed more towards kids (I know, I know, I couldn't be more wrong...). But after playing through this game, I have an entirely different perspective now. The game's atmosphere is incredibly dark and forboeding, and an excellent and equally dark story to accompany it. Gameplay mechanics work incredibly well, from stealth to combat, and I not once found myself struggling with the controls. The game world stands somewhere between linear and open world, but it does it well, with a helpful map to guide you along. And once you've finished the game, there are still many challenges it has to offer, in order to keep you coming back for more. Despite my skeptical preconceptions, this game has exceeded all expectations, and is most definitely worth buying, maybe even at full price, but this is Steam, there'll be a sale.
