FRELL YEAH! Really Big Sky is another game I've been waiting to recommend. I pre-purchased Indie Royale's Really Big Bundle before the games were announced because of the obvious title hint. I have not regretted it. This is probably my game of 2011.

Are you interested in the shmup genre despite the pattern memorization it often requires? The procedural generation in RBS removes that problem. Do you like to earn upgrades? Do you prefer a level starting point to earn your score? RBS offers modes for both styles of play. Buy it!

Scoregasm is frelling awesome! I've been waiting to sing its twin stick praises since Indie Royale's Difficult 2nd Bundle and now I fear I won't do it justice. The short range area attack provides tactical fun while the level progression offers replay depth. The better you do in a level, the more level choices you have when you leave it. You can begin at any unlocked level and tune the difficulty curve to your mood as you go. When you've beaten the initial difficulties, there's still challenges and an expert mode to take on. Do yourself a favor and at least try the demo!

Psychonauts deserves its good reputation. The majority of the game is worth playing for the humor, exploration and puzzle solving.

Unfortunately, the last level (Meat Circus) sucks. The camera provides poor feedback and players are forced to perform timed platforming tasks. By the time the final cutscene came, I was just glad the game was over. On the bright side, those who played on a console might want to give it another chance because it's supposedly easier on PC.
