You're not a skag are yer?
Borderlands is a new IP, and personally I'm glad I can say there is a sequel on the way. Borderlands humour, art style, guns and enemies make this game feel more alive than some MMOs on the market. Technical graphics arent amazing due to an old version of the UE3 and there are a few bugs but overlook them and you have one of the best FPSRPGs ever created. Or it could be the only FPSRPG ever made, in any case just buy it. You'll love it.

For £6.99, thats cheaper than a Call of Duty Map Pack, hell it's even cheaper than some skins on League of Legends but its worth so much more than either of those. For your £6.99 you are getting a rich story, a chilling tale about Dead Kel and how he came to be. With twists you wouldn't imagine, more gameplay features and new enemies to deal with and a stunning new location to visit. If you own KoA:R then this is something you do NOT want to pass up in a million years.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a mix of a wide variety of RPG games from the past decade and unlike most games which attempt to mix games (Apox) this does it splendidly. It's unashamed to be a fantasy game and dresses it's world in a suiting aesthetic and that's one of the main features that seperates it from other games in the genre. The combat system is fluid, solid and a joy to use with fights being a pleasure and not a chore. The graphics whilst not the best still are pretty to look at. Side quests feel more important than they do in Skyrim however your influence on the world despite being the only one not bound to fate is fairly limited in comparison to the Witcher 2. The writing and the soundtrack is fantastic and really makes for an immerive and engrossing plot. Overall I find this game so far to be a highly reccomended purchase for any RPG fans out there who need something to play. It's one of the best games of the last few years and you'd be a fool to miss out.
