The 79th Infantry Division, established in 2009, is a Day of Defeat: Source unit focusing on mature, respectable gameplay. Our goals are to focus on teamwork and successful gaming while providing an adult and fun DoD:S experience for mature individuals. We are not a realism unit, but we use a ranking system to denote seniority and the amount of contribution of members. We closely resemble a realism unit in the fact that we use the rank structure and require all new members to go through 'boot camp', in which we explain our rules. We also present them with various medals based on their accomplishments and their conduct.
