Nocturnal Gaming Society was born 1999, it was a group of friends who would host weekly LAN parties in a garage most predominantly playing classic games like the Quake trilogy, Tribes, Diablo, Starcraft. After nearly 4 years of remarkable gamesmanship and chapters of memories, everyone would move their separate ways. In the summer of 2007, Nocturnal Gaming Society was resurrected by current owner and operator, Beon who is an “apprentice deejay” and is shadowing the likes of future electronic dance music sensations; Vusai, Shifta, and Skill. The crew called “FMS” has reached new plateaus on a local level as expected, and it wont be long until their goal of playing the largest venues in the world will come to fruition. A section will be dedicated to “FMS” on our website following the next update, a special thanks to Christopher AKA Senior Fish Taco for his help with the domain.
At the close of 2007, Nocturnal Gaming Society had reached over 150 members strong and had established itself as a long standing tradition which was approaching its 10 year milestone. Nocturnal Gaming Society's Office/Dust2 No Awp/Auto was ranked in the top 10 for its category, and brought together strangers whom built good relationships and ideas that would contribute to our success.
2008- Nocturnal Gaming Society compiles a 22-11 record on the Major League Gaming/ Game Battles ladder in the first competitive season for Left4Dead, finishing up at an impressive 4th place. CyberAthlete League or (CAL) changed ownership, and moved countries, halting all of the previous as well as future match play for all games. Nocturnal Gaming Society was 3-0 in (CAL) including 2 pre-season victories, and was tied for the best record in the Pacific Conference (West Coast.) Congratulations to Dr. Pepe Le Pew, Tempus, Artyy, Snakeblade, PapaPassOut, and latecomer Fors4ken. With competitive play a part of the past for the time being, Nocturnal Gaming Society's Dallas Public Server has been thriving as a result of great individuals that have been introduced to the best experience a casual or competitive style player may have, so why wait? Come play with us anytime!
