Oh, rocket launchers...? My car is slowing down for no apparent reason! Just must be out of... carburetor.

This one changes it up enough and does the old gimmicks well to boot making this a pretty solid title to pick up and try out. I do have a few complaints and those are the UI is very clunky and the constant payed DLC is overwhelming and its starting to turn me off this game.
- Mainly purchased to support the creator a little since I played the freeware game long ago. This copy comes with a few new options to make it worth the money including a new graphics set which helps the game look a little more up to date as far as 2d games go as well as a new redone music option. Personally I don't like the new music very much but they did include the old as well which is good. This game now also has controller support built in and a bunch of mods if you beat the game with the best ending which is pretty cool.
- Only complaint I have is the original music is in Mono while the original freeware title music was in stereo, but you can easily swap the old freeware game music into the game's folder and use it, quite a stupid oversight however. That may be because this is a port of the Wiiware title and nintendo has size restrictions for thier shitty app store. No excuse though.
Recommend this or the 3ds remake if you prefer 3d models to 2d sprites.
