I'm a crime fiction/horror writer;
Looking to get back into school and otherwise change the direction of my life in general.
Not much to say really.
I hate these community bio things because asking a person to sum up who they are is to ask a person to describe the back of their head while staring in a mirror face first.
But if I had to sum up myself I'd say: I'm a nice guy with a morbid mind. Really. Don't run away.
"Everybody counts or nobody counts."
-Harry Bosch
-"Sometimes it is harder to deprive oneself of a pain than of a pleasure"
- F. Scott Fitzgerald (1896 - 1940), Tender is the Night
"After a battle lasting many ages,
The Devil won,
And said to God
(who had been his Maker):
'Lord,
We are about to witness the unmaking of Creation
By my hand.
I would not wish you
to think me cruel,
So I beg you, take three things
From this world before I destroy it.
Three things, and then the rest will be
wiped away.'
God thought for a little time.
And at last He said:
'No, there is nothing.'
The Devil was surprised.
'Not even you, Lord?' he said.
And God said:
'No. Not even me.'"
— Clive Barker (Abarat: Days of Magic, Nights of War)
"William Somerset: I just don't think I can continue to live in a place that embraces and nurtures apathy as if it was virtue.
David Mills: You're no different. You're no better.
William Somerset: I didn't say I was different or better. I'm not. Hell, I sympathize; I sympathize completely. Apathy is the solution. I mean, it's easier to lose yourself in drugs than it is to cope with life. It's easier to steal what you want than it is to earn it. It's easier to beat a child than it is to raise it. Hell, love costs: it takes effort and work."
-Se7en (1995)
"Good things do not come to those who wait. Only thing that comes to those who wait is - nothing. Seize life by the throat and strangle it, then bash its fucking head into the mud. Pick a few good things for yourself out of the mess.
Be sure to wash your hands."

Truly creepy. Not shocking. Creepy. Like a maggot twisting through your brain feasting upon everything that is sane and leaving everything that isn't alive and squirming. This is by far one of best horror games of all time. Right up there with Clive Barker's Undying and Silent Hill 2.
Best horror game since Resident Evil 4. Brings the dread and creeping horror of System Shock 2 into the 21st century. Sharp, sudden, black like a heart attack in space. While somewhat generous with the jump scares Dead Spaces more than lives up to its hype. The ship and its inhabitants is breath taking in a perverse gasping sort of way. Brilliant story. Intense, intense gameplay with some truly disturbing moments when you least expect them. My only complaint is the controls are somewhat aggravating for pc. Do not miss this if you are a horror fan.

well, seeing as there are millions or believers in christ, that alone could give some sort of 'higher power' to prayers, not that all get answered, but if enough people pray at the right time, or enough prayers get 'built up', idk, maybe one will get answered.
of course this is all speculation, i have no evidence, no tests, nothing to back it. but it made me think, that if enough people believed in god, would he become real?
would that make allah real as well?
odin?
zeus?
are all gods real?
am i on crack? -----------------> no.
anyways, i dont know i was just thinking about it i guess, and wanted to voice my thoughts.
hope all is well,
Bill Fuckin' Murray.
