Even though it had quite a few flaws, I actually really enoyed the first Dead Space game.
Dead Space 2 takes an interesting turn and acknowledges most of those flaws and fixes them making the game more fast paced, more action packed, and just generally "better" (for lack of a better word). It was a little odd at first that Isaac was given a voice, but I found him endearing and likeable over time.
Very much recommended by me, especially if you liked the first one.

On the surface, a Final Fantasy Parody.
Looking a little deeper, the amount of care and attention put into this game is evident in the overall concept execution, incredible soundtrack, addictively simple battle mechanics, and its witty (and often self-depreciative) humor.
A completely awesome game that came completely out of the blue, and I don't regret for one second my impulse purchase of it.

Some of the best versions of the classic Batman villains I've ever seen and a smooth combat system that's balanced by a very fun stealth aspect. Definitely excited for Arkham City.
