Is it a game? Is it an interactive short story? I don't know, I don't care - I simply love it. Great atmosphere, great music - not the greatest replay-value, but you can't really complain about that, considering the low price. For me, it was definately one of the most unique experiences of 2012.

Like "Eye of the Beholder" - just prettier :]

If you don't know the game I mentioned above, Legend of Grimrock is (probably) not for you.

They really did it! I was so sceptical until the end, fearing they'd ruin another great name of the past (namely, making a game that's great on consoles but at most only mediocre on PC), but Square Enix outdid themself on Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

There are a few downsides to this game: You can unlock almost all augmentations in one playthrough, which I didn't like. Also, instead of having multi-tools and lockpicks in addition to hacking, there's only hacking here, which gets a little repetetive later on. This also leads to being able to use every possible way in a single playthrough, lowering the replay value a bit in my opinion.

But this is basically critique on a somewhat high level. This game has an amazing atmosphere, lots of hidden details, is not too easy as most games nowadays and is truly deserving of the title "Deus Ex".
