It's not too complicated nor challenging, but still I strangely found it compelling. There are certainly more capable tower defense games out there (Defense Grid comes to mind), but the accessibility of this contender works in its favour. It's clearly created for the cerebrally castigated iPad generation but nevertheless I find it difficult to criticise it.

Like the campaign map of Total War, with a smattering of Civilisation, a sprinkling of dice rolls, all crossed with THE MOTHER OF ALL DATABASES.

It's mind consuming. A+++++++++++
