Absolutely hilarious, the funniest 'scarey' game i've ever played. Basicly Lethal Company but instead of salvaging scrap you're making internet videos. The graphics style is a sketched pen animation style that works great for the game play.

Come on it's 8 bucks...

It's like Baldur's Gate 2 & Warhammer:40K had a baby. That baby was blessed by the Omnissiah himself, and it grew big and strong; becoming the gene-seed worthy subject before us.

Suprisingly the funnest, most relaxing game i've played in some time. I was hesitant to buy this at first even on sale, because i've never had any interest in semi-trucks. However i do like racing games, combined with the sale price i figured why not.

I'm glad I did !

The graphics a pretty solid. While it certainly isn't photorealistiic or the latest cutting edge visual effects, the game is definately appealing to the eye. Truck models, trailers and loads look excellent. The textures, skins, models, and physical effects are just great. The interrior modelling is top notch as well. You really do feel like you're sitting inside your ride. More importantly is the sceneries. In a game where you're always looking out your window, the background is important. ATS delivers in that department. Each state has a destinct style and biome, with small towns, hills, factories, forrests etc. You definately know when your in the upper northwest, coast, desert, or my favorite the highplains...

Sound... The Devs have knocked themselves out. Engine sounds, are spot on! Listening to your Rig rev up, or hitting the jake break while surrounded by traffic is excellent. Sound attenuation, reverb, fade etc. Are very well done. Again, excellent job making it sound like you're in a semi hauling down the interstate.

Gameplay. This is where ATS knocks it out of the park. The game is just plain fun. If you've ever enjoyed driving games, or racing games this is up your alley. The physics of how vehicles handle is well done. Each truck handles differently, how you set the truck up makes a difference, load layout and weight makes a difference. Trailer makes a difference, and there is a sizable selection of both. Some trucks are better for van style trailers, others are better for equipment hauling and so forth.

Of course the customization of trucks and trailers is exhaustive. Paint schemes, colors, light position and shapes, tires, rims, horns oh my... Cab interriors, cabin equipment. Its a real "barbie dress up" type selection. You can go from plain jane show room, to sleek sexy, or even some neon monstrosity of obnoxiousness.

But theres alot more than just the driving and decorating.

Theres an entire micromanager's fantasy of business management as well. Buy new truck garages, and hire drivers to work for you. Designate what types of jobs they haul, what skills they develope. Assign them trucks and trailers and locations. You even customize thier trucks and trailers, and can swap choices between drivers. Move a long-haul driver to a distant garage, organize faster drivers for short runs. The business aspect has depth and really adds to the selection of things to do in game.

Don't forget the multiplayer function. Getting a convoy with other drivers is a blast. Blazing down the highway with a lead calling out construction zones or cops, for example while the tail end keeps the convoy together is incredible. Driving together, or trying to each find the best route while being break-checked by AI drivers, dodging highway patrol and weigh stations is unforgetable.

American Truck Simulator is a worthwhile buy, and a definate must buy when on sale. Do yourself a favor, go ahead and get the other State's dlcs. You'll end up wanting to anyways....

Basicly like Left 4 Dead, but set in the Aliens universe. With that said, the game play is alittle different with weapon levels, attachments, character skills etc. Etc.

Its a fun shooter, especially with friends. Although it must be mentioned there is no ingame chat.

It's Fort Zombie, Project Zomboid & the Sims all wrapped into one. And it's alot of fun in both single player and multiplayer.

A Third person view, in where you must lead a small group of survivors after/during the zombie apocalypse. There is base management, crafting, wardrobe collecting, scavaging supplies & resources, and then of course zombie killing. If you've played State of Decay one, you'll already be very familiar with how the game works & plays. You'll also notice a significant amount of improvements over the first game.

Basicly you have supplies, things like 22 rounds and bandages or bottles of ethanol, etc. And then you have resources, which are specificly for base management. Things like ammo, fuel, medical supplies and food. Everyday your base survives, it requires certain amounts of resources to function properly and keep everyone happy. This leads us to personal management. Each survivor has 4 base skills, fighting, sneaking cardio and something else i forgot, heh.. After a certain level said character can gain a fifth skill, this skill effects the entire base. For example a character with mechanics allows everyone n the base to make certain parts and gives bonuses for certain actions. They range from fishing and movie watching, to computers, cooking, and social skills, metal working... It's a pretty large list actually of the different skills and specializations you can have.

You want a group that can have a broad range of skills... But they also have to get along... Not everyone is fun to hangout with, even during the end of times...

Over all a fun game, a survival light type of style that would interest people for either single player or fun online. Online does require an Xbox live account however.

Great little Sci-Fi RPG. Alittle clunky, and she's rough around the dges. But a great "Open World" RPG all the same. A Gem, glad i picked it up i've been hooked on it since.

Windows 7 OS
CPU: I7-3770 stock Ghz
Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB
16GB DDR3 2300Mhz
Intel H77 mobo
SoundBlaster Z dedicated soundcard

Playing on a 27" curved screen monitor at 1920x1080.

This info should be enough for anyone to relate in comparison to their hardware.

I get a stable 50-60 FPS on the client with the following settings :

Res: 1920x180
AA: FXAA
SS: None
Textures: High
Effects: Cineamatic
View Distance: Epic
Folliage: Medium
Shadows: medium
Distant shadows: Off
Ambient occlusion :Off
Everything else checked on

I get stable frame rates, and no system-stuttering from the game. As far as the game it'self, it's the best WW2 first person game i've played. The required teamwork, the realism and the need for tactics and colusion is second to none. When you get into a match where everyone is cooperating and playing their role, it's simply fantastic.

The graphics are what you would expect from the UnReal Engine 4, the sound quality is top notch second to none. Game physics are also top notch, however most fighting happens in 300-400 ranges and so physical effects of bullet drop and arc don't have much bearing due to the shorter ranges. While the maps are indeed large, there are (as there really was) Hedge rows that divide property, odd barns and small community centers etc. that obstruct the view from one end to the other. Some fire fights get extremly hectic as you and your squad are keeping your head down listening for that sharp snapping sound of incoming fire; So as to figure out where it's coming from.

Game play is also top notch when playing with people who are also wanting to play as a team. The first time i played as a medic, low crawling while an MG34 was scouring the ground just over my head, my squad throwing smoke and frags, people screaming over the com.... I was hooked.

In summary, Post Scriptum is a primo WW2 shooter, that requires teamwork and tactical thought. For those that have no issues with running the software on thier computers, they are treated to one of the best shooters for 2018.
