One of the most life-consuming games every developed, DLC thankfully not included. Start out with one character and work from there. I made the mistake of creating a whole household and got swamped micromanaging each and every one of their little lives. The level of customization here is just insane and the intuitive controls are great.

Incredibly addictive little game that tasks you with rescuing and defending the most humans, represented by little dots, as possible, or alternately, killing all the ravenous, evil zombie dots after their tasty hides.

A great break from the typical RTS, allowing you to select the tools you need to best manage each scenario, rather than all the cumbersome resource managment and micro nonsense.

Campagin levels are interspersed with hilarious nonsequitur "vignettes," which keep the humor and mood light in a world so fraught with undead peril.

Amazingly atmospheric and lifelike game...imagine Fallout with a concern for quality. Minimal HUD distractions, realistic postapocalyptic world (technology, economy, people), and some of the more supernatural parts of the tunnels are brilliantly done, with eery yet fascinating moments alike.

Heard a lot of criticism about enemy AI. They may not have the most amazing squad coordination or tactics, but they present enough of a threat in numbers to be challenging.
