Hi all I have had several tries at map creation and design and made the mistake of trying to do to much at once. Now I am just pottering along doing 10mins 20 mins and if I feel a buzz starting I carry on longer which has got me further now than before..and I am really enjoying it ....seeing my own world gradually being created....some times I get stuck and cant find the tool I need but like playing a game keep at it and you find the answer...I am getting involved with a few friends building and would like to share maps is it possible to pass a map to a friend so he can build on it as well...also I would like to thank Alex for his kindness in creating the tutorials

Specimen, your best bet would be to look at tutorials on digital matte painting.

love WoLD and it's articles but I'm wanting to learn how to draw concept art and wondering if anyone has any links to some good online articles?
