http://www.daz3d.com/i/3d/free-3d-software-overview until the 31st, Daz3D is giving their modelling and lighting and about £/$800 of stuff away for free as a promotion. Get it and then do something if you want. It requires no registering of credit/debit card, etc. just a profile/username thing on their site.
Visit the Games Lab (MI204) on Wednesday afternoons for a little social gaming :)
