can ny1 tell me how to use stereomix in win7 to play music in cs 1.6
i know tht stereomix allows you to play stereomp3 format through microphone but im unable to set it up on win7

Play a game with headphones in the front jack. Now take them out. Where's the sound out of the rear jack, hmm? Vista handled that better than 7.

i have a minor problem, but its still annoying. i have been using win 7 home premium (64bit) to run steam. my problem is not specifically with the games (cs and cs:cz) but with steam functioning itself. it seems at the beginning, everything was fine, however, for the past 2-3 weeks, the in-game community does not show up. all my drivers are up-to-date, as it is a brand new laptop (corei3 @2.26 Ghz, 4gb ram, 320HDD@7200, nvidia310 512mbVram) . anyone else having this problem, and if so, what can be done to fix it?

Haveing major problems here: I just upgraded to Win 7 ultimate from Xp Sp3 and now all of the Source games (HL 2 TF2 ect) now run with FPS 10-15 no matter what I do,....I don't understand what happend unless its a hardware issuse. Befiore anyone askes I have updated both my video and sound drivers..My vid drivers date is 7-19-2010 and my sound driver date is now 5-5-2010, I have a geforce 9500 GT 1024 Mg 1 gig sys memory. 2.66GHZ Celeron D Socket 775 processor. I am at a loss as to whats going on..It all ran fine on XP For example: Half-life 2 I had all the graphics options as high as they can go and I still had 30-45 FPS now with WIN 7 I get 10-15 with the same options and if I lower them I still get 10-15 FPS,.,,That example goes for all Source games. If anyone has any suggestions I would be very greatful!

Yea my issue before has actualy fixed itself, Sorry to hear about yours aser. Now im just combating occasional ram spikes.
