This is a petition to allow "viewmodel_fov 70" in TF2 without "sv_cheats 1" being enabled.

I personally believe that "viewmodel_fov 70" should be allowed in online gaming, this command makes the weapons if Team Fortress 2 look like they do in the Source TV.

If you agree that this command is not a cheat and that it should be allowed to be used in online gaming without cheats enabled please add yourself to this Steam Community Group and show your support.

If you are unsure about this being a cheat.

"viewmodel_fov 70" does not affect your in game fov (field of view), it affects the size and the shape of your weapons.

"viewmodel_fov 70" is especially useful for Demomen and Soldiers because it, for me at least, makes the game play differently. This, for me, is because (as Demoman) the weapons look lighter thus making me aim with more twitch aim.

Also I personally don't see why "viewmodel_fov 70" is classed as a cheat when commands like "r_aspectratio" are not.

Well anyway, if you would like to show your support please add to this group, I'm hoping for a lot of people to add so that we can present this to Steam but I would like to hear other people opinions about this command before I do.

What I do not want to hear is people moaning about "r_aspectratio", yes I agree that it should be classed as a cheat but that's a different story all together and maybe on another day I'll make another steam group about it :P.
