Starship Roleplaying Community

The United Stellar Navy is a group of gamers that get together through the internet to play Artemis, Empty Epsilon, and other Space Ship Bridge Sims online (and other games too).

We were founded on the principle of helping people have fun playing Artemis, by hosting games, building developing, persistent stories, and by welcoming and giving training to new players and people that want to play.

Our primary method of communication and organization is the community Discord, but you can contact a large number of our members and staff through steam as well.

SERVICE RECOGNITION AWARD

Today I have the great honor of recognizing numerous officers.

Officer Mdeath, your dedication to your crew and ship have been exemplary. Time and again your dedication and commitment to the mission are unwavering. On numerous occasions you have demonstrated your ability to rely on your crew and their expertise. Additionally on multiple occasions you have demonstrated what it means to be an officer of the USN, by risking your ship and crew to safe your fellow officers which is of the utmost values of the USN. I hereby promote you to Commander and award you the Iron Star Achievement

Officer Slate, repeatedly you have gone above and beyond your duties to better yourself and your fellow officers. Your efforts to train and develop the outstanding protocols for Jump Drives is extraordinary. I hereby award you the Distinguished Service Award and Instructor Certification.

Officer Kerovan, your skills in engineering and your commitment to your ship have not gone unnoticed. Your continued support of the community and development of fellow officers is commendable. From your continued service I would like to award you the Service Achievement Award and I hereby promote you to Lieutenant Commander.

Officer Feil, you have continued to serve this navy with continued growth. I hereby promote you to the rank of Lieutenant, with all the rights and privileges thereto.

Officer Northwood, for dedication to duty, service while under fire, and commitment to uphold the ideals of the USN, I hereby promote you to the rank of Lieutenant.

Officer Happens, time and again you have volunteered to advance and serve this navy. Your hard work and dedication to the development all in the Dionysus System is honorable. For your continued efforts I would like to award you the Service Achievement Award and I hereby promote you to the rank of Lieutenant.

Officer Head, you have been an asset on each of the vessels you have served on. Your willingness to serve in any capacity has not gone unnoticed. I hereby promote you to the ranks of 2nd Lieutenant.

Officer Steele, You have proven yourself a capable and promising officer. Your ability to find joy in your work is a worthy attribute to any crew. Additionally you have successfully completed three combat missions. For your continued serve and your combat experience, I hereby promote you to Ensign and award you the Combat Action Medal.

Officers Maleciah, Cotton, Acer, Spike, Frost, each of you have shown your commitment to the United Stellar Navy. As cadets you all have proven that you are able and capable officers. I hereby promote all of you to the rank of Ensign.

Service Recognition Awards

As the final preparations for today’s weapons demonstration settle in to place, I’m glad to take a moment and recognize the fine officers of Dionysus Outpost.

Officer Northwood, your fellow officers have noted you as outstanding for your persistence in the relentless work of an ensign, and your willingness to jump to any station and role. Your growth as an officer is admirable! You are hereby promoted to 2nd Lieutenant.

Officer Kerovan is being promoted to Lieutenant for his engagement on station, and welcoming activities for new officers. Additionally, Lt Kerovan has been assigned our community Engagement Officer, colloquially abbreviated as NGO. Congratulations, Lieutenant.

Officer Zorilya has been recognized as a tremendous asset to the Intelligence Division. His work on analyzing complex data sets and intelligence is a valuable asset to our duties here. Please join me in congratulating Lieutenant Commander Zorilya.

Officer Slate has been a standout Scicomms officer from the start of her assignment here, but her skills in this area have impressed all. And Captain Tuttle has followed her lead, developing highly capable skills at Scicomms duties. Over the past few months they have demonstrated a strong commitment to developing relations with all vessel they come in contact with and have show great skill in this area. You are both hereby awarded the Comms Specialist certification.

Lieutenant Commander Samyule has been noticed for his work leading additional missions. While he is not here to accept his promotion, I hope you’ll all join me in congratulating Commander Samyule.

For his work and contributions to the Intel Division, special ops field and research assignments, and providing officers with the most up-to-date information about our system as it becomes available, Lt Cdr Hogaboom is hereby promoted to Captain.

Finally, it is my duty to announce that Captain Mason has emerged from retirement to take on the task of developing the Dionysus Naval Academy. This ambitious step will assist in allowing us to recruit and train officers in system directly. Please welcome Academy Commandant Mason!
