For minecraft, might I suggest you guys check out industrial craft and buildcraft.
Buildcraft gives you automated crafting tables, automated strip mining, and tubes moving stuff from machine to machine
Industrialcraft adds a huuuuuge amount of new electric and mechanical devices and materials.
These two mods will add a massive amount of SCIENCE to minecraft.
Also, you guys might want to try the sepulchritude, MSPAF's tf2 server, forums.It's alot neater and cleaner then some 4chan derieved imageboard.

the minecraft server is awsome, cept for the fact its not peaceful, and a creeper blew up part of the rail way to the mines.
