A Note Regarding the Unending TF2 Server Crashes
Note: The front page version of this post can be found at http://lions.dongues.net/#1355, and the edition posted to the forums can be found at http://lions.dongues.net/board/viewtopic.php?t=1355
I kept putting off writing this because I hoped Valve would get the issue fixed within a day or so like they usually do, but it would seem that they're having issues fixing it. I'm sure many of you have noticed some weeeeird shit going on when you've played in TLD since the Manniversary update. These things include, but are not limited to:
(1) Repeated (and seemingly random) server crashes
(2) Things clipping through stuff they shouldn't be
(3) Invisible walls randomly appearing that prevent play until the server is restarted
We've gotten a lot of messages about this, and while we'd certainly rather get too many messages than have nobody say anything, I wanted to make this post (which will, once I'm done, be mirrored to the forums, front page, and the steam group) explaining that we are aware of it and there's absolutely nothing we can do until Valve fixes it. Try to make the best of things in the mean time :(
