UPDATE: As a thank you for your support, on Christmas Day I used "Random.org" to pick the winning name from the members of "The Great Crate Bonfire" group. The prize was a FREE PREMIUM ACCOUNT containing 2 KEYS and 20 weapons. The winner was... 2Fast4U_FDM.
Here is what the great Crate Bonfire is all about: A few months ago the president of the clan I game with, "Tribe Of Judah", had an idea to protest the fact that since keys could ONLY be bought with money for a very small chance to find something good in a crate , it was nothing more than gambling. We believe there should be other options for obtaining keys, like crafting them or drops. We decided to collect and delete 100 crates, and send a video of it to Valve as a protest, but the support was so great that within a few days we had 300. We made our first "You Tube" video called: "The Great Crate Bonfire - 300 crates deleted" (see link below)...but the support did not stop. It kept growing and I did not want to see it go to waste. Within a week over 500 more crates of every level were donated. Hundreds of TF2 players have now donated over 5000 crates and I am working on the new video. If you are tired of only being able to buy keys for money to gamble on a rare chance of getting something of value more than the key, or if you are just frustrated that a great game like Team Fortress 2 is being buried in a quagmire of trading with ever growing prices controlled by an elite few, then join our gourp and let your voice be heard. I truly believe The Great Crate Bonfire has become a WILDFIRE that Valve will listen to. A famous English statesman once said: "The best way for evil to succeed is for good people to do nothing." I for one am willing to do something...who will join me? I set up this group to be able to contact everyone with updates concerning the video and for people to let their voice be heard. I welcome comments for or against what we are doing as long as you keep it "G" rated. I also welcome any ideas you have to improve TF2. The best ones we will pass on to Valve with our video. When I announce the release of the video, I will also be posting an Email address for you to write Valve. Your voice does matter and we can make a difference. Thank you for your support. God bless.

how do i donate crates and do i get anything in return or just the satisfaction of burning crates? (im new to this group)
also im friends with Bird so i can always helo him in anyway in my power
Bird Of Pray is so cool!!! and he always fits in with the other players on the severs he goes on to and many others. and btw...... Bird Of Pray is so coooolll!!!!
I have a few crates i wanna get rid of, and I am tired of seeing people with multiple unusuals controlling the market and probably getting there because they ripped people off in the process.
