Hello all, I'm sorry that I haven't kept the announcements up to date, or consistent by any means. First, I would like to report that even though our record was 0-3 over the last three weeks I would like to say that although they where tough losses, we did play well. Second, I would also like to note that in the last three matches we ethier had: -bad ringers/ subs -not a full scrim schedule
And still managed to keep each of these matches very close. It may be hard to see the progress that the team has made over the last month or so, but with confidience I can say that our team is without a doubt one of the best teams in Steel. We have beat teams like Smoke, Silver teams, and other good teams in Steel that just happen to have a better record than us. With our mains, and with confidience I can say that we can beat most if not all the teams in Steel.
All of this leads me to my last point which I will brief for now and elaborate after our final match this Monday. But we are looking to add some depth to our roster, to add some quallity and reliable subs that will be much better than the ragtag ringers that we have been just pulling. Last week guys, give it everything you got.
Scrims on Saturday @ 8:30 EST & 9:30 EST Scrims on Sunday @ 8:30 EST & 9:30 EST
Great Job in this last week's match on Monday guys! I feel like we had really good matches against good team for scrims, and we had a good game. However, there are a few things that we should be working on that our last match brought to light: -Keep comms clean: whether or not we are winning, loosing, or playing a great match, we should asways keep our comms professional and well orginized. Please don't say anything that doesnt need to be said or just silly stuff. -Stay focused on the objective: Alot of times someone would be distracked and go for a frags, or positioning that doesnt help the objective, know your job and what you're doing. -Ask questions: I always ask if anyone needs help with the map or needs to ask a question. If you don't know what something is called or where we are rolling out.... ask.
These are things we have always struggled with, but lets put forward the effort to change them.
This weeks match is against LR_ another 3-1 Steel team that will deffinatly give us a run for our money. We need to jump on them quick and keep or frags steady. It's Cp_Steel this week, so team coordinating is key!
