Thanks for the new driver (and everything else), with it Vulkan is actually faster than OpenGL.
Thank you for the update. Soul East's fix is much appreciated.

Does this fix DS4 controllers also? Skipping pairing like an actual Playstation is awesome.

DS4 pairing already worked, this fix is specific to DS3

DS4 pairing worked when I paired it through a bluetooth utility, as in that github thread, but not when I just plugged it into USB. It would still be paired to my PS4 once I unplugged it and didn't auto-pair to the PC.

Edit: I'll test it again with 2.64 to see if it auto-pairs.

You still need to initially pair it with your SteamOS machine. But you can do that through Settings->System->Bluetooth in Big Picture.

Thanks, that's what I was asking. The DS3 patch mentioned by the github below show the DS3 working without needing to do any bluetooth pairing:

According to SoulEst here on a DS3 you just plug it into USB and hit the Playstation button. This is ideal and would be a more console-like experience if it also worked with a DS4.

Edit: It's definitely not unusable having to pair it, but it's exciting that you don't need to with the DS3 anymore and would definitely be a usability plus if the DS4 also worked the same way it did on an actual PS4.

I have had (moderate) success with this arrangement on Windows as well.

Can't wait to try the SteamOS implementation!

Nice to see the beta branch having faster driver updates.

(Probably only for the vulkan development, but still nice to see).

p.s. Can we get a improved user switch option in steamOS?

(Loging off and having the steam client restarted before selecting a user takes a lot of time when four people are using it).
Fix the freeze for amd graphics card when stream with steam link

Thank you for DS3 update. Supprting DS3 is very important because PS3 is the most used last-gen console everywhere (EU, Asia ...) except US and UK.

Bluetooth connection is still buggy but wired connection works well. Please continue to support it.
