Our group has had a long multilingual history, and we're keen to continue that!

We're welcoming the assistance of any people with additional language familiarity who can help out with localising our group description and news announcements (eventually we'll look at getting the site fully localised as well).

I don't have a good plan for how to work towards this, but if anybody wants to throw any ideas (and translations) in this thread, that'd be awesome :D

ANNOUNCEMENTS/NEWS POSTS
We currently don't have a plan for how to localise news posts. Should we bunch all translations into single news posts? Will this make them too long? Would one post per localisation make it harder for people to see news items?

EVENTS/SERVERS
It would be nice to have language oriented servers and events if there are people interested in attending/organising them. Definitely accepting suggestions on this.

"Перевод хотел!" - its phrase in past time, and (or) charter who talk about his wants is "translation" :-) Right version is "Необходим перевод!" or "Требуется перевод!" or "Нужен перевод!"

Siamo una comunità multilingua che cerca di essere di essere un luogo divertente e accogliente per persone di qualunque formazione e attitudine.

Inoltre, trattiamo le news riguardanti Steam per Linux (News di Valve, Steam e sui giochi nativi), e ospitiamo server di gioco e eventi regolari su di essi (Abbiamo il tempo rimanente per l'inizio di ogni evento nel sito di SteamLUG).

Ah, so we've hit a bit of an issue. We've used up all 3,000 characters that are allocated to descriptions.

I'd like to see at least some representation from all the languages in the group description. I'm wary of trimming down what we have though (since I think it's got worthwhile and important information for newcomers).

Does anybody have any thoughts or suggestions on how we might approach this? We could move translations off to the website, but I'm wary of that suggesting that they're not important enough to go here.

Maybe need one or two phrases like intro and link(to the site or group forum thread) after that to all translated text. It's enough i think.
