Saw an offer from Steam for 50% off for Evochron Mercenary. Saw the vid, checket metacritic and decided to give it a try. Looks pretty awesome, the seemless transition from space to planet looks like an awesome feature. Look forward to giving this a try!
Ignore my first sentance. I meant to say "We should put a Freelancer server together one time, someone could host it for a couple of hours"
Hey guys. We should , maybe, put together a time, when one of us hosts a freelancer server. It would be fun, we could play some normal vanilla Freelancer in MP, and have some fun. If any of you have Neverwinter Nights as well, I may try to see if I can make a server with my own (If I actually make one) modules. If any of you havent tried Neverwinter Nights, its a great fantasy RPG, it uses the D&D 3rd edition ruleset, but its quite nice.
How about Evochron Mercenary for this month?

There is a lot of indie games in the works and maybe some of them will come to steam because I know distribution is usually the biggest issue for developers.
V3teran there is two nice games being worked on FFED3D and Pioneer both have dedicated forums and download areas associated with them on SSC.

Not that many space sims on steam tbh. I have Tachyon, Eve, and Darkstar One, with the X series. Thats about it for this genre.

:) I haven't used Steam much myself yet least for purchasing games. Still attached to buying hard copies still.
