Shadowrun PC Steam Home - 360 Players welcome too

This is a group for fans of the underrated game Shadowrun by Microsoft Game Studios and the now defunct FASA.

It is *NOT* soley here for PC players of the game, on the contrary, I invite ALL players of the game to join, PC and Xbox alike.

Please also feel free to use the Dedicated Server that I leave up and running all the time!

Shadowrun Server Temporarily Down

I"m sure some of you have noticed my serve has not been up.
It's not that I decided to take it down, but more that I'm having line issues with my ISP, the connection is not "clean" like it used to be, as a result I'm getting complaints of some lag.
If you have played on my server in the past you know I take pride in the fact that it WAS lag free.
I am currently shopping other ISP's and hope to have it running again soon.
At the very least I hope that I can get my current ISP to find where the fault in the line is, because it is NOT on my end.

I will keep you updated.

Shadowrun Community Event coming soon

Well, things have been collecting dust around here for long enough.

It's time for another community event.

I'm thinking in a couple weeks, so every one has time to plan for it.

I'll be doing TWO separate events, just so everyone has a chance (and NO excuses) to play.

Anyway, I'll do one during the week some evening, and another probably on a Saturday or a Sunday early afternoon (my time zone, EDT, GMT-4)

So if you all have a preferred time or day, say so now.

Anyone still playing? I am going to re install but just wanted to know if anyone is still playing this game?

Sorry for delayed reply, server is temporarily down, for a couple reasons, one, I've needed the machine for something else, BUT I forsee it possibly being made available again soon, second, honestly, lack of interest.
I promised that I'd put it up at least on Saturday nights, for the "Shadowrun Sundays", and I plan on getting it up again for at least that.

Hey guys, I just tried to reinstall my old retail copy fback from release in 2007, and It wont even run, it just crashes. Has anyone else had this problem and is there any way to fix it?

Yep ever since XCOM I have been more into TBS then RTS. I bet the core fans are crowing at this project, and probably feel much better about this IP. Kinda reminds me of the Age of Empires saga. AOE II HD with Steamworks/Workshop. lols Microsoft. :P

It's coming along nicely. Still, it's too bad I've never been able to get into games with that style of game play, I get bored wayyyyy too fast with them. Sadly I'm an action junkie.

I bet the core fans of Shadowrun "old school" are jonesing over this though.
