The Satyricon/TF2BASE.COM

Many of you no longer play on Satyricon and I don't blame you; Portal is really cool, Episode2 is fun, and there's a lot of other things going on. I know TF2 is finally losing its "shiny and new" appeal but I still love it.

For the rest of you who play regularly on my server and enjoy its wonderful pings on the west coast, this message is for you.

Here's whats going on on the server for Satyricon regulars:

- Kick the Weakest Player (or my answer to reserved slots) Im going to offer the ability to kick the player with the lowest score and shortest connection time. This will let people who pay a small $2.00 monthly fee the ability to always play, and it could be great fun. Im still working out some kinks. It will also remove some of the riff-raff. Those of you who were testing it out will notice the URL changed and there's some new hoops to jump through before you can use this version.

-BeetlesMod I installed BeetlesMod. It's fun and lets people vote on maps. I will also be offering limited administration for a very small monthly fee.

-Custom Maps Im in the process of finding the best custom maps to be added to my server and will have them uploaded soon. Any suggestions are welcome.

-Player stats I've noticed my player stats suck. I'm working on getting something better. Possibly HLstatsX.

-Casual League Weekly pickup games a little too unorganized? Fishgills and I may be trying to organize a league with weekly matches. Something very basic and mostly fun.
