Rest of World
Wow! Just wow, We were hoping the group would be a success but to see over 150 people in 24 hours is far beyond our imagination. Even if we are just a small percentage this goes to show how many people are ticked off and the income these publishers are losing by leaving us out. I bet that even if it’s just us 150 people buying their games that they at least could break even.
We thank everyone for joining and hope that you too invite all your friends on STEAM, forums and blogs to join the group so that when we are strong enough we can get a statement from these publishers as to why they don’t publish their games in the ROW.
It seems that there are some websites which also share our pain and my shouts go out to them for breaking it to the ‘big’ public. Shouts go out to RockPaperShotgun.com and kotaku.com (RPS seems to be trying to make contact with Ubisoft. If they manage to do so we will let you know).
For now, again thank you for joining and get the rest of the world in this group :)
We would like to leave you with the comment made by Valve regarding the subject: "It's their call. We offer worldwide coverage, and we're happy to offer the products to as many customers as the publisher/developer desires."
So that confirms what we already knew, Valve has no blame in this story (other then maybe try to push the publisher harder to get it out worldwide). We hope we get a clear comment by the publishers some day.
