Let them sort out all the legal issues, new employees and new problems. Once they know who their newly acquired developer is they can make decisions about new games.
Also I edited your post by accident, thought I clicked reply. Sorry.
"On December 19, 2012, THQ filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy leading to an auction of THQ's properties that was held on January 22, 2013. While developer Volition, Inc. was picked up by Deep Silver along with Saints Row, Red Faction was not a part of the transaction. The IP is currently still included in the chapter 11 case making for an uncertain future of the franchise."
- Taken from Wikipedia.
That isnt a bad thing necissarily. It means it isnt locked to Volition or Deep Silver and can be picked up by anyone. Unfortunately it is probably going to take someone who liked the franchise.
If i win powerball i promise to buy it and produce a FPS reboot of RF1 and a sequel to RF:G.
I would make the socialistc revolution more powerful as a theme, topic and subject in the game's story.
my point is that even tho the story of red faction arma was good the things beside it were pretty boring infestation mode was just a boring copy of halo and shooting aliens isnt really my thing anyway they should had know better and made something similair to red faction guerilla and red faction 1
Anyway the industry is going through some period when publishers would only like to cash-in on things at times. So we will see a lot of stupid moves here and there.
