Yeah what deviate said. There are 3 active servers in our region. 2 at IPGN and Scorched Earth 2 in NZ are still up. They don't show up on quakeservers.net but they do on the in game browser. IPGN ips are quakeworld.ipgn.com.au:27506 and quakeworld.ipgn.com.au:27507 and SE2 is abyss.nisda.net:27505. irc.gamesurge.com #ozquake is where the most active quakeworld players in australia idle and congregate.
I been duelling pretty regularly lately - theres a mob of dm peeps at irc.gamesurge.com #ozquake who are usually keen for a game - I wanna get abit of a game going thursday nights if anyone is keen
